Chief Engineer, West Coast of Canada

In this newly created position of Chief Engineer, one of your first projects will be helping to convert a Coast Guard ship to a coastal research ship. The ship will be a customizable test bed for never before used green power technologies. It will provide a platform for ocean research on changing ecosystems, marine resources of coastal British Columbia and continental shelf. Initially shore-based, this position offers day on/day off leave ratio with short one to two week trips in coastal waters.
